2016 Winner Profile

Allstate Corporation

Project Description:
Conventional roadside assistant programs charge membership fees, whether or not a customer uses the service. To challenge the traditional business model, Allstate launched Good Hands Rescue, a pay-per-use service available to its customers and the public via a mobile application or website, from which drivers can digitally request roadside assistance and track the arrival of the service provider in real-time. Users can also add in friends or family information to send real-time updates on the status of the service. Featuring responsive web technology and memory database technologies, Good Hands Rescue provides customers a better end-user experience and eliminated the need for time-consuming human intervention, including call centers and dispatch workers.
