In 2014, AECOM Construction developed a new company wide collaboration tool dubbed ProjectHub. Designed to help AECOM associates deliver improved global collaboration between its colleagues, clients and stakeholders and to enable faster, more cost effective creation, and sharing, of designs and already developed structures while continuing to meet and exceed client and end-user expectations. Challenged with linking their existing enterprise engineering file management networks together into a hub system based on AECOM's business processes, the new cloud-based ProjectHub is able to offer AECOM associates with a multi-tiered security model protecting project data and minimizing exposure to information to over 20,000 users worldwide and offering a savings of over 30 percent from the previous collaboration solution as well as 50 percent reduction in time to administer and search for the information needed.
