StubHub's key to keeping customers happy and staying ahead of competition is continuous innovation and enhancements to every aspect of attending an event. To that end, the company wanted to scale up its DevOps program to deliver a more robust ticket purchase experience for customers. The company also wanted to remove the data replication delivery bottleneck for non-production environments, reducing labor and storage costs required to build an environment for dev/test/QA teams. The Delphix Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) software platform enabled StubHub to virtualize complete databases in agile ways with compressed storage. Delphix solutions helped enable the StubHub team to keep up with business demand, delivering the data to build, test and bring new services online at a rapid pace. A process that took weeks now takes hours, and higher quality test data makes QA more effective, resulting in higher quality applications. StubHub now introduces more engaging features to enhance customers' event-related experiences, which has become increasingly critical in the highly competitive ticketing marketplace.
