Project Description:
Sunmark Federal Credit Union has developed an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) solution that provides self-service, real-time banking for Sunmark members as well as ATM transactions for non-members, in a fully integrated self-service kiosk platform. The solution provides transaction help and support to members through tablet integration within the branch and outside the branch through remote video tellers that are centralized at the company's member solution center. The ITM is part of Sunmark's omnichannel strategy to deliver its suite of financial services in a common and consistent way across all delivery channels as well as part of its branch transformation strategy of smaller more cost effective sales-oriented branches. This technology allows Sunmark to extend its member reach and allow members to perform self-service banking outside of its branch locations by placing the ITMs in locations other than branches, including the cafeteria at the General Electric campus in Schenectady NY, which employs 4000 people. Sunmark is now able to differentiate itself from its competitors by offering full self-service banking 24x7 at its drive-thru locations.
