Project Description:
Fannie Mae is advancing intelligent automation for the enterprise via robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and other cognitive capabilities. The project is a partnership with internal business teams to replace costly and time consuming manual processes with robotic automation solutions, allowing teams to focus on increasing customer demands and advancing strategic initiatives. Fannie Mae has already experienced an increase in savings back to the business, increased controls eliminating human errors, improved service-level agreements (SLAs) and an increase in workforce capacity by creating an elastic, on-demand virtual workforce working hand-in-hand with human counterparts. The project was launched into production in March 2017 and in the first year, Fannie Mae automated 20 business processes throughout the firm were automated to serve various teams. The success of the first year has resulted in a rapidly growing pipeline for partners and processes for automation in 2018 and beyond.
