Khalifa Empowerment Program - UAE

Project Description:
Khalifa Empowerment Program for Students has launched Aqdar, an innovative initiative that uses cutting-edge video games to communicate awareness messages, strengthen the national identity and promote an empowered generation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that can cope with life's current and future challenges. Through this initiative, the company is aiming to counteract the unacceptable behaviors in the community in general and in schools specifically, such as the use of knives and sexual harassment. The overarching goal of the initiative is to promote lifelong learning opportunities for everyone and to help make cities inclusive, safe and sustainable. The company provides the games for free to all public and private schools in the UAE. Students can also download games onto their mobile devices. The initiative aims to make learning inclusive, provide an equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for everyone. The games, which provide content that target different ages, complement other ways of fostering awareness and education, such as lectures, books, awareness movies, brochures and training courses. However, the main advantage of electronic awareness games is that they speak the language of the current generation.
