Project Description:
IHG's transformation program involves initiatives across multiple workstreams and spans the entire global organization. The program took a two-step approach: Rationalize the IT organizational structure and sourcing model to achieve cost savings and refine and develop new capabilities that can best contribute to the organization's growth, revenue, and performance. IT service management is a key focus, as are agile processes and a "right-sourcing" approach to identify the right mix of talent sourcing through internal resources and key strategic partners. Hybrid cloud, SAFe, and containers are also part of the mix. As a result, the company has increased access to skills and talent needed to drive innovation, and has refocused suppliers and a new performance-management process.
