Indian IT outsourcing company Satyam Computer Services, recently hit by a fraud scandal, has named A S Murthy its new CEO.Murthy was previously the company’s global business head.A government appointed board arrived at the decision on Thursday, after a two-day meeting in Hyderabad, India.Murthy, who has been employed by Satyam for the past 15 years, is to assume the CEO role with immediate effect. The beleaguered IT company’s former CEO, B. Ramalinga Raju, was arrested last month in connection with large scale corporate fraud.
